Computer Engineering & ITES&M advanced and emerging area of technology has shown an unprecedented growth in every sphere of activity. A conscious attempt has been made to design the curriculum as per the requirement and need of the industry. Elective subjects like OOP, DBMS, Multimedia, Computing etc., are being taught besides the basic sciences and allied subjects. Six months Industrial training and project have been made an integral part of the curriculum to enable the students to correlate the theoretical knowledge with practical approach of problem solving. With equal importance given to hardware & software subjects, the college maintains well equipped and modernized Graphics Lab, Multimedia & Networking Lab with Internet facility & Software Lab. After successful completion of the course , students may secure jobs as Software Engineers , Senior Programmer, Hardware Engineers, Maintenance Engineer , Computer faculty etc.
Diploma in electronics with specialization in Digital Electronics course has been defined and designed to meet the challenges of continuous technological changes and sound knowledge of latest areas. Various elective subjects are offered like Advanced Microprocessor, Digital System Design , Microprocessor based system Design, Communication Engineering, principles Of Instrumentation and Transducers, Product Development and Design and Imaging Techniques.
Departments maintain well-equipped and well established labs for different electronics and allied subjects e.g. Digital and Microprocessor Lab, Medical Electronics Lab, Communication Lab, Project Lab Etc. Facility to undertake Project related activities with Industry have been made an integral part of the Curriculum which enables students to develop skills and know the work culture of an Industry. After successful completion of these courses the students are absorbed for the jobs in the fields like Sales & Marketing, production, Customer Support , Servicing, Development & as technicians etc.,. in various reputed companies like Tata Consultancy Services , C-Dot, Siemens, Tektronics, Philips etc.,. These courses at Ambedkar Institute of Technology follow the scheme of Multipoint Entry & Credit System.
INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL
This Diploma Course has been started with a view of training students in the vastly emerging industries of India using new technologies like Petro-Chemical engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, Aviation, etc.,. All Engineering Industries connected with above areas have to rely on Instrumentation such as Measurement & Instrumentation, Quality Control, calibration & testing etc.,- all very much an essential part of the entire set up in any industry. To cope up with the modernization of Indian Industry & Quality Control, the syllabus & objectives of teaching have been formulated to encompass the areas of Computers , Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics & Industrial Automation which are now important areas of study. The course at Ambedkar Institute of Technology follows the scheme of Multi-point Entry & Credit System .

BACHELOR IN VOCATIONAL STUDIES IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT & MOBILE COMMUNICATION
Ambedkar Institute Of Technology , DTTE has started two new under-graduate Degree courses (Bachelor of Vocation): B. Voc. (Mobile Communication) and B. Voc (Information Technology), approved and sanctioned by UGC, GGSIPU, New Delhi.
The admissions to the diploma of different courses are based on the Common Entrance Test taken by the Department Of Training & Technical Education, Delhi in May /June every year. The prospectus are out in the month of April every year. The minimum eligibility criteria for a candidate to be selected with minimum 35 percent aggregate in English, Maths, Science & pass in rest of the subjects in Class 10th . The subjects Science,Mathematics & English are compulsory and the candidate should have passing marks in each of these three subjects without considering grace marks. Reservations are made for candidates belonging to Reserved Castes, Physically Handicapped & Wards Of Defense.
